
In the quiet town of Tamsui, just north of Taipei, there is a point where the river meets the ocean. My studio overlooks that spot—the sunset serves as a daily reminder of the fluid nature of light. It is a long way from the academic pressure of my childhood in Kaohsiung, yet every step— from the keys of an Electone to the logic of computer science—has led me to this view.
