
It was my mother who gave me the love for creating as a child. She taught me and my sisters how to draw and paint, knit and crochet, sew, garden, and much more. We were involved in 4-H sewing and fashion revues, food preparation, crocheting, and other activities. This is where my love for crochet began. I was given some crocheted lace pattern books and was instantly hooked.
