From the great white north of Canada, near the big city of Toronto, I’m writing to you from my windowsill in Acton, Ontario. As I sit here watching the birds this morning, I can’t help but think to myself how incredibly lucky they are that I’m an “indoor” cat (whatever that means). I know one thing: I am not allowed outside for very long before I get scooped up and put back in the house. I don’t want to be an indoor cat; no one ever asked me which I’d prefer.
