There is some question as to whether my work is basketry or sculpture, but I prefer to leave that determination up to the viewer.
I spent the last 30 years living in Oregon before moving to Idaho three years ago. My husband and I had a lovely home there, perched atop a foothill of the Cascade Mountains and overlooking the beautiful McKenzie River. It was during these years, inspired by the stunning landscape, that I began basket weaving.
