Milla is a New Zealand-based photographer and designer, with a focus on authentic storytelling.
Growing up in Ōakura, a coastal town at the foot of Mt Taranaki, much of Milla’s inspiration comes from New Zealand’s lush landscape. She loves to shoot on location and is always searching for that magic light.
Milla began her career as a magazine designer for NZ Life & Leisure, a premium lifestyle publication. This early exposure first sparked her interest in shooting feature articles and telling the stories of the people behind them.
She now works across editorial and commercial photography, and produces a range of creative work for Kindred—a design studio that she runs alongside Californian co-founder Janelle. As an all-female practice, Kindred hopes to amplify the voice of creative women, elevating their businesses to greater heights through bespoke design and photography.
