Lia Crowe came to photography while working as an international model for a decade in the late 1990s and early 2000s. After studying photography in New York City, she moved back to the West Coast of Canada, where she now lives and works. Having been in front of the camera of so many great photographers, Lia now has a unique approach behind the camera: She sees things from both sides. Passionate about the creative portrait, her work endeavours to highlight the true essence of her subjects by showing their strength and intelligence, and by bringing them to a place of being unapologetically themselves.
