Jax Welborn is a photographer and artist as well as a hard-working advocate for the people and historic architecture of Route 66. The supportive community of Waynesville, Missouri, has won her heart. She focuses on the Mother Road, with her photography and social media skills, to promote the local people and businesses. By contributing photos and stories about the bridges and people in Devils Elbow, Waynesville, and the Hazelgreen area, she continues to reach out to the local and international Route 66 Communities. All of this is in an effort to promote the Small Town USA aspect of the Pulaski County portion of Route 66 in order to make her self-proclaimed ‘homestretch’ a ‘must stop’ for tourists on their road trips down the Mother Road.
