Chandler Strange studied fine art and photography at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. She lived in New York City, where she worked in art and fashion, for 20 years. She now has two children and lives on a trout and flower farm in Durango, Colorado, where she continues her art career. Her work focuses on flowers, nature, portraits and animal life, mostly in watercolor, pencil and photography. She is also a children’s book illustrator.
