Cate Dingley

on social media

Cate Dingley is a documentary photographer, photojournalist and lifestyle photographer based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Across these photographic genres, she finds herself drawn to study individuals who are creative, rebellious and original. Dingley has been photographing for Blair and other local artists since 2020 (when she moved to Santa Fe) and enjoys setting the colors and textures of the textiles next to the subtle tones of the high desert landscape and its unique light.

Her book Ezy Ryders, published in 2022 by The Artist Edition, weaves together five years of documentation of New York City’s Black motorcycle clubs and intimate interviews with the riders.

In 2018, Dingley was selected by Magenta Flash Forward as one of 100 international emerging photographers, and in 2017 she was listed by TIME as one of 34 female photographers to follow. She has been featured in solo and group exhibitions across the U.S. and her work has been recognized by American Photography and the Center for Documentary Studies. Editorial clients include The New York Times Magazine, Bloomberg Business, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. Earlier this year, Dingley had a solo show of her work from Ezy Ryders in the Copenhagen Opera House.
