Renaissance Ribbons was founded in the late 1980s by Edith Minne, who has been a force in the quilting and trims industry and created a very successful company that would feature the biggest names in the industry: Tula Pink, Kaffe Fassett, Anna Maria Horner, and many more!

In 2023, Chelsea O’Hayre, the owner of Pink Door Fabrics, purchased Renaissance Ribbons when approached by Edith, who wanted to retire and felt Chelsea would be a great fit for the company. Chelsea knew in her heart that this would be an amazing opportunity to showcase these ribbons in new ways, bring on more designers and expand the already large catalog of beautiful ribbons.

We look forward to continuing Edith’s model of offering amazing ribbons and rims with exceptional service. Renaissance offers the highest quality woven jacquard ribbons that can be used for bags, trims, adornments, and even home decor. We are proud to carry the exclusive Tula Pink webbing, which is loved by bag makers around the world and gives their projects a professional touch. We are continuing to expand our wholesale and retail offerings, as well as quilt and paper goods shop outreach to increase product awareness and availability.

Chelsea, whose team includes marketing/design manager Sandra Smith and account manager Jordan Hawkins, shares: “When Pink Door Fabrics opened 12 years ago, I could never have foreseen it leading me here, but we are so grateful to each and every one of you for making our big dreams possible.
