Karin Winter is an artist, collector, and photographer who lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her passion for vintage took root during her childhood in the Netherlands: Every Sunday, her parents packed lunches of Dutch cheese sandwiches and hard boiled eggs and brought Karin and her brother on road trips through the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, scouring flea markets and little antique shops. More recently, when Karin lost her job during the pandemic, she created not one studio, but two, built a museum of vintage marvels in her home and founded the popular Whimsy & Wonder Art Club.
