
Finding my passion and having the courage to allow my creativity to walk with me through life is when I experienced true freedom. I have always loved being alone, even as a child I can remember my Nana placing me on the floor at the foot of her bed with a blanket and a few toys for hours, and I was content all by myself. As I grew into a teenager, I recall waiting for the rainy days to take a walk through my neighborhood in Newark, New Jersey, with an umbrella in hand, all by myself. Even today, riding in my car with the radio off and just the swoosh of passing vehicles and my thoughts free to roam is serene.
