
I have always been an old soul. My artwork lends itself to that depiction as well. I strive to create works that look timeless by using a somewhat subdued color palette. I’m inspired by light; by shadows and reflections. I’m inspired by nature, flowers, places I want to be, or go… places that are in my mind. There is always a story or emotion behind each piece, even if it’s subtle. For years, I have been primarily a palette knife painter and have fallen in love with the layer-upon-layer technique, along with the undefined edges the knife leaves behind.
