
I have always loved folklore and dreamt of being the elf in the night, mending clothes; the kind of mending that makes them that bit more precious. It turns out, though, that I am not a night owl or night elf, but a morning person! So, I find the best of my creativity happens at that moment when it still feels dark, but the birds know the sun is on her way. It still means I am here drawing, painting, stitching, and sticking pins in my fingers whilst the world slumbers. I have always loved the feel of that time of day.
