Inspired by her family’s move to an 18th century historic home and farm, Meg Veno combined her passions for design, history, family, vintage and celebrating life’s milestones to dream up and create Life’s Patina. Out of the two-story stone bank barn on the property, Meg runs her business, holding seasonal, experiential pop up "barn sales" where she artfully vignettes vintage finds with newer decor pieces for her guests to purchase, and hosts bespoke weddings, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and special events.
In addition to being a pop up shop and events venue, the barn is also Meg's studio. Since opening Life's Patina 10 years ago, Meg has spent thousands and thousands of hours creating in the barn, its original stone walls, worn wooden floors and air of history serving as inspiration for countless eye-catching displays, "barn sale" themes and event designs. It's not uncommon to find Meg in the barn until the wee hours of the morning, no matter the season, always busy thinking up new ideas to delight her customers and bring them an experience that they can carry in their hearts long after they've left the barn.
