
I paint to tell nature how much I love her, and to keep falling in love with her as I learn more about each plant and fungi, their stories, and the magic they carry. My paintings are answers to the questions I have about nature. Whether I am wondering how plants evolved, how pollination works, or what a fungus is, any time I have a nature- related question, I start a new painting; to learn, to fall in love with the mysterious and wise ways in which nature unfolds, and to later tell their stories through paintings.
