JENNIFER FISHER is an Oklahoma native with a passion for impressionistic art. A self-taught artist, she began her journey as a painter, and enjoys palette knife painting. Using acrylic paint (along with other mediums), she implements a layer-upon-layer technique to achieve beautiful, broken color effects which are not possible with a brush. More recently, Jennifer has been exploring fiber art using variations of textiles and thread layered to create a piece that, from a distance, appears to be a painting. Her works are assembled by the process of hand-stitching.
