Regan Beisenherz-Rouse is a professional photographer based in Denver, Colorado. She felt an early pull toward film photography, writing and travel, and the way that people connect. After earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Media Studies, she continued working in the industry in New York, eventually making a switch to digital photography in 2006. In 2009, after obtaining a Visual Arts degree at The Art Institute of Colorado, she would spend three years working in Seattle, Washington. What started as a career in Wedding and Lifestyle photography has steadily grown into authentic storytelling and heartfelt editorial documentation of female entrepreneurs, mothers, and artists all over the country.
“I am not interested in niches, rather observation and memory; all of the deeply felt experiences that people can’t put into words. Together, we capture it in photographs that last for generations; we make it tangible. I think that’s pretty incredible,” she says.
