Valerie Ott, who lives in Kalamazoo, is a wife, mama, dog owner, and a lover of food. She is excited to wake up every morning because she is doing something she loves. I created this business 13 years ago with a very simple mission, to make people feel beautiful.”
When Valerie was in college, she worked at a traditional photography studio that only had 4 or 5 traditional poses. When the clients would come in to see their photos, she would hear, “I hate my nose,” “Ugh, I look fat,” “I have flat hair.” Hearing the same negative comments over and over again drove her to the point that she hated the studio. So, when she opened her own studio, she promised herself that she would NEVER hear those kinds of comments. Therefore, if you tell Valerie that you hate your nose, she will go on a 10-minute rant about how beautiful you really are, and she will give you permission to see it! While her business has evolved over the last 13 years, her mission has stayed the same: FEEL BEAUTIFUL.
