In March of 2020, I opened a shop in my home, creating a new way of shopping for the future. Bringing “shop small + local” to life was creating a new concept and reality to shopping. Valuing artistry, passion and uniqueness shaped this concept into reality. My customers enjoy a cup of tea, privacy and one-on-one attention when they shop at PPtaller.
The shop is filled with curated curiosities from my travels and collections. There is a curio cabinet filled with vintage coral and beautiful objets d’art, in addition to a vintage vitrine with a collection of vintage taxidermy birds, skulls, paintings, curiosities, vintage jewelry and charivari. The shop is a must-visit for any antique magpie, jewelry collector and lover of natural history and curiosities.
My intent is for my customers to connect with a treasure by continuing to give meaning in their own time and create markers of the passage of their lives. They act as loving keepsakes, mementos and timeless reminders of significant moments in our life.
PPtaller is composed of treasures from all over the world, with a focus on necklaces. I offer the best I can find — genuine antique finds, vintage keepsakes, heartfelt mementos and newer treasures. All of the objects that I acquire have a timeless beauty and soul that I connect with. All of the objects are chosen from the heart and represent the passage of time. I am known for creating handcrafted one-of-a-kind rosary chain necklaces made from gemstones, wood, metal and glass beads and combining them with one-of-a-kind pendants, mementos, amulets, charms or medallions. Meditation is a part of my practice when creating rosary chains.
My necklaces are featured in several shops in Minneapolis: Twelve Vultures, The Fitting Room, Tao Organic Cafe + Herbery, Dock 6 Pottery and J. Atelier. In addition, for the past few years, my necklaces have been featured during Fashion Week Minnesota at the Evolve Fashion Show.
