Skyler Winter is an adventure photographer based in Leadville, Colorado. He specializes in expedition and adventure photography, documenting mountain life and representing people as accurately as possible through photography. He has been professionally pursuing photography for just over a year. He grew up in a household that was dedicated to photography. His mom, Karin Winter, is a professional photographer who played a huge role in shaping Skyler into the photographer and artist he is today. Skyler found his passion for photography after taking some shots on his dad’s old film camera. That Christmas, he was gifted a DSLR, and his passion flourished. Anywhere, anything, and anyone he was able to take pictures of, he did. He took pictures of Ski Area Operations students at Colorado Mountain College and shots of his friends scaling sheer rock faces outside of Buena Vista, Colorado. All these opportunities have led Skyler to where he is today, documenting his life and those around him.
