Please send your submissions. However, if you don’t receive a reply to your submission within 10 business days, please resend your submission with a note on the first line: “I am just following up to my earlier submission.” Thanks for your interest in being part of these magazines and website!

WHERE Submission Guidelines

  1. Six photos of your overall studio. Do not send close-ups of what you create. WHERE readers are interested in WHERE you do what you do.
  2. A short synopsis of your story about your creative space. Make it concise and to the point … not more than 200 words. You can add the details at a later time. If your synopsis is too long, I will return it for you to edit and then you can resubmit. 
  3. Include a link to your social media sites: Website, Facebook and Instagram.

WHAT Submission Guidelines

  1. Six photos of what you create. You can show the details of creating one piece or you can send photos of the different styles or categories of your hand-crafted pieces.
  2. A short synopsis of your story about your passion for and the history of what you create by hand. Make it concise and to the point … not more than 200 words.  You can add the details at a later time. If your synopsis is too long, I will return it for you to edit and then you can resubmit. 
  3. Include a link to your social media sites: Website,  Facebook and Instagram.

ART OF BUSINESS Submission Guidelines

  1. Six photos of your business, which may be your art, a retail store, a website, online classes, whatever you make or wherever you work.
  2. A short synopsis of your story about being a woman small business artisan entrepreneur. Make it concise and to the point … not more than 200 words.. You can add the details at a later time. If your synopsis is too long, I will return it for you to edit and then you can resubmit. 
  3. Include a link to your social media sites – Website,  LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.

PET TALES Submission Guidelines

This is our favorite new section of WOMEN CREATE. This is the place for you to tell your story involving what you do, where you do it and all with your constant and much—maybe most—loved companion(s)! 

These stories can be written about the creative life you share with your pet by you in your words or they can be told to you by your pet and translated by you for publication. I believe that every pet of every creative has a million of their own stories to tell!

  1. Six photos of your pet in your studio or with you creating outside of the studio. PLEASE no pictures of walking your dog, playing with your pet, your pet sleeping in your bed … you see the vision!
  2. A short synopsis of your, or their, story about life in the studio with you, their creative, and your pet. Make it concise and to the point … not more than 200 words.  You can add the details at a later time. If your synopsis is too long, I will return it for you to edit and then you can resubmit. 
  3. Include a link to your social media sites: Website, Facebook and Instagram.
