I believe with my whole dog heart that I am mom’s muse.
Sure I watch out the windows to protect mom from squirrels, rabbits, deer, raccoons, lots of chipmunks and the occasional fox. When I am not protecting, I help mom design on her computer, stitch all sorts of magical art and paintings too.
A personal favorite is laying on mom’s lap and resting my chin on her space bar on the keyboard. It makes funny skips and noises and bounces mom’s work around. I think it keeps mom’s creative fresh.
I help mom when she films her online art classes (she has 14 so far). When she’s busy chatting and creating, I often sneak a paw on camera, so everyone knows I am helping.
I work hard + nap hard. Mom filled the bottom of a fancy vintage cabinet with lots of my toys – I crawl inside and nap. I have an oversized lamb chop that is a fluffy chin rest.
Not to brag as I am a very humble girl but…I have my very own Facebook page where I help mom market her art.
I also designed a greeting card line all about ME – really, it’s called Pearl Buttons World. We have 120 cards, some of the greatest doggie ones. I am a good writer because I know what dogs love (okay, my dad helped too).
I wrote this to describe my world and it is on the back of each card:
PEARL BUTTONS WORLD IS:
A world that believes all great things are possible.
Where happiness + silly moments matter most. Knowing that sharing and giving fills the soul with life changing goodness. In Pearl Buttons World we celebrate the precious everyday.
Love,
Pearl Button
P.S. I also inspired mom’s fabric line called Woof + Wags. Sure it’s adorable.
