I’m a social guy and I like accompanying my mama to her work at Creativebug where I get lots of belly rubs and I can snag the occasional croissant morsel from under the lunch table. I’m an integral part of the office culture and I like to help my mama make sets. Sometimes I lie in the middle of her painted backdrops, roll around in piles of yarn or curl up on a handmade quilt while she works. I help boost the overall creativity of the staff as well as help artists relax who come to film their classes.

Even though I’m a very loving guy, I am also a fierce protector. Beware to any dog walking by and sniffing at the door. I like to give them a sharp bark of warning to let them know I’m in charge.

Somedays I also get to hop in the car, put my face out the window and ride to my mom’s studio a few minutes from our house. It’s a much chiller vibe, and I like to lounge on the patio and soak up the sun. People come to say hello to me and tell me how cute I am. I was also a shop dog for a few years and had many visitors and acquired a lot of nicknames.

I know when someone spots me because I hear them exclaim, “CHARLIE!” And then I run to them for a cuddle and a kiss.

When we’re not in the studio, I’m just wherever my mama is. I often ride along in a bag, or now that we have a toddler, I cruise along in the bottom of the stroller. I’m adaptable. I sit in her lap while she paints or lie at her feet when she’s reading.

I’m her good luck charm and her muse!
